Ultrasmile had worked for my sons front teeath (knocked out badly when he was young and needed building up for cosmetic reasons until old enough to have permanant replacements)
In march 09 I decided that for my birthday I would start down the road of what I new would be some serious work to my teeth (the really are a mess). We could just about afford it if I managed my budget properly and my boyfriend was going to chip in as part of my birthday present. On my initial discussions with the dentist I laid out an extensive list of things I would like corrected. This cost me of course - and a price I was fully aware of before attending. My next visit involved some photos - I wasn't made aware of the cost for these until it came to pay on leaving, my next visit entailed some more photos and a cast of my teeth and some x rays. The cost is now building up and I again wasn't told prior to the appointment that this is what would happen or what the cost might be. I sent an email prior to this appointment advising that I couldn't continue this way (I am in no way rich and each appointment was costing me a weeks wages).
At my last appointment the Dentist I was seeing basically told me he could do nothign for me until I had seen an orthodontist. I have private health care that covers some necessary dental work and chances are this would come under that but my health insurance company needed a referral on headed paper from Ultrasmile - I asked for this (I had recieved an email detailing which wasn't enough for the HI company) and recieved no response. I asked again and then I asked for the photos so I wouldn't have to have them done again at another dentists/orthodontist (I had paid for them after all - and they weren't cheap)
Nothing.
I am so dissapointed that repeated requests are going ignored, that I have nothing to show for my money but an email telling me they can't help and that I can't persue some of the work needed with the HI company (my teeth really are a mess and causing me discomfort) because the dentist on't put the recommendations on headed paper for me.
Hopefully the legal costs will be covered by Ultrasmile - shame on them

I visited Ultrasmile to have an emergency filling on a Saturday - my front filling (done a few days earlier by another dentist) broke off on Valentine's day!
They were extremely friendly, fitted me in at a time to suit me, their receptionist was helpful and even made my boyfriend a coffee while he waited for me.
The dentist was the most professional I have ever encountered. He clearly knew exactly what he was talking about and took time to explain why the filling had broken and helpfully pointed out various things in my mouth (such as the wearing down of my teeth because I grind them) without even the slightest hint of trying to "upsell". They have top of the range equipment and are a thoroughly professional outfit, in lovely premises at Limehouse.
They charged me a flat emergency fee and nothing at all for the treatment. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes.
I will definitely use them again, and highly recommend them.

I had a tooth break while here n London on holidays. UltraSmile was able to fit me in the same day. They were very friendly, caring and thoroughly professional. Further the costs were not as high as we would have expect for a similar procedure in Australia. I can’t speak too highly of them.Stewart
